Founded in January 2010, Blue Volcano Media is a Dallas-based boutique digital marketing agency specializing in providing small and medium-size businesses with the tools and strategies they need to establish and build their brand online.
Our team has worked with global companies as well as small, local retailers across a diverse universe of industries. Whether you need a new website or a full online marketing campaign, we have the expertise and experience to help you.
Marjorie has been a writer, blogger and editor for several years and has written for national, regional and local newspapers and magazines. She has worked with numerous small businesses on crafting advertising and marketing campaigns to promote an array of products and services, from home equity lines of credit (and yes, she realizes the sad irony of that), weight loss products and furnaces to eBay consignment services, independent film festivals and wineries. She’s also served as ghostwriter for several businesses, wielding her expertise with the English language on behalf of clients on their blogs, websites, and social media accounts.
Marjorie founded Blue Volcano Media and has since worked with dozens of clients on leveraging the power of social media, content marketing, email marketing, and search engine optimization to strengthen their brand and grow their communities online.
She published her first book, How to Get a Job in Social Media, in September 2013. It’s now available for the Kindle on Amazon.com. She also publishes a popular blog/online magazine for Francophiles called My Inner French Girl, which was honored with a mention in the New York Times Style section.
Marjorie holds a BA in Political Science/International Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. She’s an active volunteer, board member and occasional foster parent for Take Me Home Pet Rescue in Richardson, TX, as well as a volunteer and board member of Friends of George and Gracie, a Dallas-based marine mammal conservation organization.
Jill is a self-proclaimed professional student turned actual professional. She has an extensive educational background across multiple fields including marketing, advertising, public relations, and administration. Jill is well versed in the aspects of social media and excited to apply her personal passion to her professional career.
Jill holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Arlington and currently resides in Dallas, Texas. She is an advocate of animal rescue and highly active in ‘dog-culture’. She can often be found at local dog-friendly spots with her own spoiled Beagle. In what is left of her spare time, Jill enjoys traveling, trend watching, and shopping.
